December is a very special time in Golden, Colorado when this quaint 19th century town puts on its Holiday best and comes alive with the Spirit of the Season. It’s the perfect setting for an evening out and The Buffalo Rose has the classic Holiday Dinner Theater event that will leave you with all your Yuletide yearnings satisfied!
Enjoy a festive meal while being entertained with Once Upon A Colorado Christmas, a live theater production that promises to be the most fun family event you’ll have this Holiday! You will be transported back in time to Golden in the late 1800’s on Christmas eve where a night of elegant entertainment has been promised at The New Haas Saloon. With a winter storm raging, the night does not go as expected, but with a little Christmas magic, the show will go on with an eclectic mix of Holiday music and colorful characters from Colorado’s past. Perhaps even a visit from Father Christmas! This one-of-a-kind Holiday Dinner Theater experience for the whole family complete with a Christmas feast and an atmosphere that is undeniably merry!
In the Spirit of Giving, a percentage of ticket sales will help to support participating local art organizations.

All tickets are for reserved seating and are priced according to the seating section. Your seats are reserved in a particular section according to price, but we cannot give you the exact seat or table you will be placed in. If you bought tickets together, you will be placed together. The gold tickets are lower round tables and can have as many as 8 seats. The Silver section are 4 top rounds (and at bar height) if you are more than a group of 4 in the Silver section, you will be placed with 2 tables next to one another. Be ready to make friends - as in most dinner theaters, you may have people at your table you don’t know. Dinner is served prior to the performance, so if you find yourself in a seat with your back facing the stage, you will be able to easily turn your chair around for the show. Ticket pricing includes the evening's entertainment, stationed appetizers, and the Holiday Buffet.

Plan to spend the evening with friends and family at The Buffalo Rose in beautiful downtown Golden. Doors open at 6:00pm and drinks and appetizers are served 6:00-7:00. The delicious Holiday Buffet opens at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:30. A la carte desserts are served at intermission and the show ends at 9:30.
